LH 3.1 Non-turbo Chips
These are the same as my LH 2.4 non turbo chips, but ported to LH 3.1! If you’re not sure if your car has LH 3.1, check the connector for your mass airflow sensor. LH 3.1 uses a four pin MAF connector instead of the normal six. Differences may be not quite as significant as these cars are mapped a little better (smoother, mostly) from the factory versus LH 2.4 cars. The rest of this ad is exactly the same:
This is a set of chips for your LH 3.1/EZK equipped B230F. This includes improved road manners and fuel economy, as well as a WOT tune developed on the dyno for a car that was modified as follows:
K cam
Ported head with 44/38 valves
No cat, 2.5" exhaust, factory downpipe
10.9:1 compression
Stock intake
Cleaned injectors! (Careful pushing your crusty old ones, maybe they don't flow as evenly as you would think. This cost us dearly at one point.)
Admittedly, this is a lot of mods, but the mapping is also scaled down proportionally so if your car pulls less air at WOT, you'll be (somewhat obviously) receiving less fuel as well.
The closer your car is to this setup (what the tune was developed for on a dyno and not the street), the better your results will be. This tune, in addition to returning 139 whp on the dyno vs the 133 we got with a chip from an unnamed competitor was also good for 30.7 mpg in our test car in mostly, but not exclusively highway conditions. The car's previous recorded best was 29.6 mpg.
Package contains two chips. To use the ignition chip you will need the HarrieCo daughterboard sold here, a factory gold EZK, or another aftermarket daughterboard.
